| Research Experience: | Collaborative Survey of Cetaceans and the Pelagic Ecosystem (CSCAPE) off the U.S. West Coast - Project Web Site |
| Research Objectives: | Assess the abundance and distribution of marine mammals and characterize the pelagic ecosystem off the U.S. West Coast. The pelagic ecosystem within the study area will be characterized through the collection of biological and oceanographic data, seabird studies, and acoustic sampling. A final objective is to conduct biopsy sampling and photo-identification studies of marine mammal species of special interest. |
