Research Experience: | Atlantic Northeast Shelf Ecosystem Monitoring Project |
Research Objectives: | To monitor the hydrographic and environmental conditions on the continental shelf from Cape Hatteras up to Georges Bank and the Gulf of Maine as part of a long-term monitoring program. The R/V ALBATROSS will be the platform for collecting plankton samples, monitoring seawater temperature and salinities at 125 stations scattered randomly across the shelf. |
