Kimberly Pratt - Cabello Elementary School (Union City, CA)
Research Experience: Atlantic Northeast Shelf Ecosystem Monitoring Project
Research Objectives: To monitor the hydrographic and environmental conditions on the continental shelf from Cape Hatteras up to Georges Bank and the Gulf of Maine as part of a long-term monitoring program. The R/V ALBATROSS will be the platform for collecting plankton samples, monitoring seawater temperature and salinities at 125 stations scattered randomly across the shelf.
