Hook
A basic understanding of the electromagnetic spectrum will enable students to understand the relevance and importance of data collection and analysis techniques that use different parts of the electromagnetic spectrum. An understanding of wavelength also relates to the frequency and energy of these waves. The wavelength, frequency and energy of electromagnetic waves will determine how they will interact with matter such as the chemical compounds found in the atmosphere.
