Continued Collaboration with Research Team Members

Type of Interaction / Outcomes / Dates / Locations / Parcticipants: Over the last year I have had email interaction with my PI to plan a collaboration for February, 2005. I will be taking a group of students to Yellowstone National Park for a 4-day cross country ski trip/winter ecology class. We will be meeting with Bob Garrott (my PI) and some of his students to learn about their research on elk and wolf interactions in the park and to talk about the Weddell Seal Project in Antarctica.

I have applied to present about TEA at this year's NSTA conference in Dallas. I hope to work with TEA Colleen Brogenski to put together a workshop on polar science for teachers through the New Mexico Museum of Natural History sometime this spring.
