Type of Presentation: 50 minute key-note address

Content: I was the opening address for the convention. This was a 45 minute slide presentation about TEA, Antarctica, the Arctic, and Scientific Research. The audience consisted of high school students (and their teachers) who had completed research of their own, so I was able to focus on research even more than I normally do. Following the presentation, I answered questions for 5-10 minutes.

Outcomes: The students seemed very interested in the research. They said that they learned a lot, and I had a lot of fun. I received a very complimentary letter of thanks from the program director.
