Location: Nome, Alaska

Type of Interaction: Type of Interaction: Presentations to Nome Public School students and to the community at the University of Alaska Northwest campus. Arctic researchers presenting included Dr. Lisa Clough, Jeffrey Johnson, and David Griffith of Eastern Carolina University as well as Deb Meese of the Cold Regions Research and Engineering Lab. 24 students at ACSA, 40 Nome-Beltz Jr./Sr. High School students, 350 elementary school students and approximately 15 community members saw the presentations.

I have kept in contact with Dr. Lisa Clough in order to establish a program at ACSA where students collect marine organism samples for Dr. Clough.
