1. I spent one week in LaJolla at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography in May to meet with my PI, Dr. Jim Swift as well as several of the technicians that I worked with on the cruise this past summer.
How are you sharing your research experience with your colleagues, district, community, etc?
1. Arcticles appeared in our local paper as well as the school newspaper about my experience conducting oceanographic research in the Arctic and bringing what I learned back to not only my classroom but other classrooms in the school district too.

1. So far only the presentations to the earth science classrooms. Our oceanography unit is planned for the spring quarter of 2004 which will include activities based on my TEA experience.
