How are you sharing your research experience with students?
Currently I have given numerous presentations/workshops to all students grades two through eight at Cluny School. These presentations have included hands on activities designed to introduce the students to the continent of Antarctica. All students have been exposed to the TEA website including the page that introduces me. As soon as I am made aware of what my research in Antarctica will be, I will hone the topics of my presentations/workshops to reflect that research. I intend to begin a buddy program with students from another district having discussions with my students about Antarctica.
