How are you sharing your research experience with students? Provided GLACIER brochures to building staff

Met with the building science department to discuss the meaning of the integration of education and research

Set up 3 geography classes for regular correspondence with Chris Cleavelin at S. Pole Station

Made 7 guest presentations to classrooms

Presented to 5 classes in my building

Gave a 2 hour evening presentation to the Kitsap county, Washington amateur radio club (adults) and guests

Activity:
Established a distribution list and submitted regular entries.

Set up a building-level distribution list for S. Pole MET reports, GLACIER/NSF information, items of interest from McMurdo and S. Pole scientists and support personnel, and any other related materials. Later expanded my distribution list from building level to include teachers throughout CK School District, neighboring districts, and interested professional and retired people

Parcticipated in the NSTA New Orleans conference

Edited video and sent copies with my journal to NSF Directorate of EHR. Later re-edited my video and had it catalogued and placed in the school library along with 2 catalogued copies of my journals (one copy on reserve and the other copy for general check-out)

Continued to promote GLACIER in my presentations and on my distribution list

Submitted my bio, photos, and journals to Stephanie Shipp at Rice U. for placement on the GLACIER website
