    I am presently preparing a TEA proposal for a Northwest TEA and TEA Associate Regional Meeting for the states of Washington and Oregon. I attempted to host a local network TEA and TEA Associates meeting at my home in the spring and again this fall. During this year I repeatedly tried to make long-range plans, but members of the TEA and TEA Associate team have cancelled (scheduling conflicts, illness, family issues) as the time nears.

    Conference presentation for high school science teachers and scientists.
    27 attended
    Introduced the audience to the TEA Program and website, overviewed by TEArctic field assignment, addressed how I’m transferring this experience to classrooms, handed out folders of TEA Program materials and my related TEA teaching activities. This resulted in interest in the TEA Program and, especially, the TEA website for its use within classrooms and its available journals, activities and resources.

    Conference poster presentation for high school science teachers, scientists and guests.
    Personally handed out TEA materials and discussed TEA with ~100 conference parcticipants (some parcticipants did not choose to take a brochure, but studied my poster). There were 275 conference parcticipants who were informed of the TEA Program in the conference program book. Both my oral and poster presentation abstracts were printed entirely within this schedule of events.
    Generated interest in the TEA website, TEA teaching activities, and the TEA Program.
