How are you sharing your research experience with students?
I visitde a number of classrooms at my school with maps, pictures and information prior to my experience. I contacted my district public relations person and the local newspaper. Arcticles were released informing the public and schools in the area of my upcoming experience.

6. Anticipated TEA Involvement (01/2001 to 01/2002)
*NSTA convention March 2001, *Volunteer to come to orientation for future TEAs., *Continue presentations to community organizations and schools.
*Meet with teachers in the area who are interested in TEA and advise with application ideas. *Be available to the TEA program for any presentations, mentoring, teaching or outreach assistance.
*Meet with my PI and team members and arrange classroom visitation. *Return to my PI and complete photo journals that were established in Antarctica.
