Continued Collaboration with Reasearch Team Members
Type of Interaction / Outcomes / Dates / Locations / Parcticipants:
I have ongoing communication with both Philip Kyle (PI) and other members of the research team via email. We connect over ongoing research and making classroom connections for our students using data based activities.
How are you sharing your research experience with your colleagues, district, community, etc?
This year has allowed me many opportunities to share my Antarctica experience with not only teacher and student groups, but also community organizations both in the social and service sector. In this year I also made the transition from classroom to district office, so my outreach activities during the school day do not require the expense of a substitute. Attending science conferences both on the national and local level I have presented over 10 times and reached over 500 people.
