4. Other TEA Activity Involvement
Each year, including 2000 I visit ten elementary schools for their Super
Science Days and make presentations to fourth graders and their
teachers. I also teach a college course for teachers for the University
of Delaware twice a year and include my experiences as part of my
lectures. Finally, I use the research itself (evolution of mineral
structures in magma) in my field studies for teachers to Arizona and
Appalachia.
