How are you sharing your research experience with your colleagues, district, community, etc? I HAVE PREPARED PRESENTATIONS FOR ALL CLASSES IN GRADES 2 - 5 IN MY DISTRICT, AND HAVE GIVEN HALF OF THE PRESENTATIONS THIS FALL. I HAVE ALSO CREATED ACTIVITIES SPECIFIC TO EACH GRADE LEVEL TO ACCOMPANY THE PRESENTATIONS. THE ACTIVITIES AND THE FOCUS OF THE PRESENTATION ARE LINKED TO EXISTING CURRICULA AT EACH GRADE LEVEL.

STUDENTS EXPLORE THE ADAPTATIONS OF ARCTIC ANIMALS THAT ALLOW THEM TO SURVIVE IN A COLD CLIMATE. STUDENTS MUST FIND A WAY TO KEEP THEIR

Title: MARINE HABITATS

Description:
STUDENTS CREATE A SIMULATED OCEAN HABITAT IN WHICH TO RAISE LARVAL LOBSTERS. THEY TEST SALINITY AND TEMPERATURE DAILY, AND MONITOR WATER QUALITY FOR POLLUTANTS. THEY ALSO KEEP A JOURNAL DOCUMENTING THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF THEIR LOBSTERS OVER A THREE
