Type of Interaction / Outcomes / Dates / Locations / Parcticipants: Second author on a paper, in progress, entitled "Intensive sea-surface microlayer investigations of open leads in the pack ice during Arctic Ocean 2001 expedition", to be published in 2003 (hopefully). First author: Johan Knulst (Sweden). Other authors: Jussi Paatero (Finland), and Brian Thompson (U.S).

How are you sharing your research experience with your colleagues, district, community, etc? 1) January 22: 90-minute presentation to 20 staff members at Cuyamaca Community College as part of their Staff Development Week Activites. 2) March 12: 60-minute presentation to 35 students in Environmental Science at Helix High School. The teacher is in my Collaborative Learning Group. 3) May 4: 30-minute presentation to 100 members of the Alpine Kiwanis Club. 4) July 3: 30-minute presentation to 20 members of the Spring Valley Kiwanis Club.

Booth hosting and SWAT team at NSTA in March in San Diego. Provided laptop computer and projector. Also organized TEA dinner for NSTA. Presented at CSTA in October in San Francisco with Jean Pennycock and Juanita Ryan.
