Field Experience

Were you in the field this season? No

Continued Collaboration with Research Team Members

Type of Interaction / Outcomes / Dates / Locations / Parcticipants: I spent a week with my PI again this summer in Orono, Maine. (June 2-June 9th )While there I visited area schools sharing our Antarctic experience and did a little work in her lab. We are planning for me to come up again in 2005. She has also mentioned that if she receives funding for future Antarctic projects that she would love to have me join her team in the field.

In addition, I've remained in contact with former TEA teacher Barb Schultz who is working on a scientist/teacher partnership and is looking for teachers to pilot her newly developed program. I'm unsure if I will be able to do it this school year, but hope to the following year for sure.
