I did return to the field this year, but not as an official TEA. It was an honor to be able to return.

Jan - Feb I processed all the snow sample data.
March I visited the lab and helped with ice core melting.
May travelled to American Geophysical Union Meeting paid for by U of Az
I worked for several weeks in the lab in Tucson. July 15-30
September I spent a weekend in Boulder at NOAA to learn about the ozoen experiment.
October 28th - January 13th I parcticipated on ITASE traverse as a field assistant.
How are you sharing your research experience with your colleagues, district, community, etc?
Last Spring I helped prepare lessons on snow and weather for lower school classes.

We planned several activities together and while I was in Antarctica this year they put on a great workshop for students from the great Phoenix area schools through our project excellence program. This planning took palce before I left.

While on the traverse I called my school weekly, the Boston Museum of science 3 times, and made one call to the project excellence workshop mentioned above.

I parcticipated in the Orientation in August of this year at CRREL. I parcticipated at NSTA in San Diego March 2002. There I helped at the booth and was an assistant to other TEA's presentations. I have been active in my MRG.
