07/24/98
This week we've accomplished and learned many things which can help us with
building of the Antarctica weather station.
- On 7/22/98, we went to Rosensteil School of Marine and Atmospheric
Science to learn
more about their remote sensors. We also received some contact information
that can help us with the communication, specifically, NOAA.
-On 7/24/98,we met with representatives for a business luncheon from Miami
Dade County Public School (MDCPS) and Bellsouth. We spoke to them about the
weather station project and the Antarctica trip. Questions and Answers were
exchanged.The meeting was very profitable.
The people we met at the meeting were:
Dr. Anthony Machads and James Tarrens, from MDCPS. They work with
Telecommunications Management.
Ana Maria Bacallao from Bellsouth Communications.
