Orientation Day 2

Today we looked at some of the gear we will be wearing in the field. These items will be loaned to you when you are ready to go into the field. This gear is of course intended to protect you from the cold. They all seem very thick and well insulated. The items include a jacket, socks, neck warmers, headgear, mittens, and goggles. You also get special kinds of boots. The list of items seems to be very complete. You can get as many items as you think you will need. The station you will be assigned to determines what you will need.
