I am excited as I pack my last long underwear and wool socks to head South on
Saturday. The students and I are working on our current environmental
projects at school. Trips to our oyster raft to collect water quality data
and oyster growth statistics occur every two weeks. This past week we spent
mentoring second grade students on the ecology of the Chesapeake Bay. It
will be difficult to leave such thoughtful and motivated students for a month
returning the oysters to the Chuckatuck Creek
student in Ms. Roberts science class collect data on oysters
