Chunks of ocean ice forced on to the beach. The sea ice is changing everyday. With the ice breaking up and the wind blowing on shore there is only place way for the ice to go.

Standing on the beach with melt water near and ice piled up 10 meters out.

Farther out on the ocean more pressure ridges develop where the ice piles up on top of the broken up blocks. Looking out you can see ridge after ridge stacking up as the ice sheet breaks up and moves around.

What is a beach without seagulls? Here however they have to find food in the ocean not someone's sandwich sitting on a blanket.

The ice eventually returnes to the ocean in some interesting and beautiful ways.
