I will fly to Christchurch, New Zealand and then begin the almost 30 hour journey back to Buffalo tomorrow. The morning has been spent checking baggage, doing last minute paperwork, and saying good-byes. Things have been so hectic I have had little time for reflection. I know Antarctica will leave its mark on me. I am thankful to be one of the few people to ever experience this wonderful place. I may never have an opportunity to return but I'll never forget it.
