I have been getting a lot of questions about animals during the conference calls and through e-mails. I decided I had better show those following my experiences just exactly what an amphipod looks like. It is a very tiny crustacean. This picture had to be taken under a microscope just so that you would be able to see it. This is the animal I have the most direct contact with. Sea stars are the second. I do see seals, penguins, and birds, but I have no direct contact with them through any research.
