Well, today I got the opportunity to speak to one of the local Kiwanis Clubs. I spoke to
the Inverness Kiwanis Club that meets at Inverness Country Club. It
was a real treat. My parents have belonged there since I was fourteen
so I really enjoyed getting to go back there to eat and visit. I was
able to tell everyone there all about my upcoming Antarctic adventure
and contribution to science. It really is very exciting- the
anticipation of it all! It's going to be fun when the surprise is over
and I'll know exactly where I will be going and what I will be doing
and with what researcher! Right now, it is great just telling everyone
all about the TEA Program and how they can become a student in my
classroom just like my precious eight and nine year olds. Don't forget
to e-mail me!
