Saturday, August 9, 1997.

What a gorgeous day! After a hard overnight rain (I am glad I removed the bugs from the field) it is very warm, scattered clouds and practially no wind. The fishermen are going to another site called the Oksrykuyik Creek. My bug work continues. Now that I have the count, I will try to identify some of the bugs. Bethany Hooker has some experience in identifying Arctic insects, so I have sought out her help. She said she would stop by the Dry Lab later today and have a look at what I have caught.
