Today is sunday again and I decided to take the day off and go for a hike.
We decided to hike out to the trapped iceberg that we saw from the top of
Observation Hill. It ended up being a pretty long hike...about 1 hour and
20 minutes each way. It sure was a lot bigger once you were up close! It
was very pretty, all these cool blue and aqua hues to it along with the
standard white of Antarctica! Once we were out there we decided to play
in the snow a little and did some tumbling and polar ninja wrestling! It
was a very fun day, I felt rather small standing next to the huge iceberg
and being surrounded by ice as far as the eye can see. It was a pretty
amazing feeling.
