How did your work with your team help you meet the professional growth goals you
set for yourself?
There was a very positive atmosphere in working together. We all felt working together added many new approaches and ideas to our teaching. We also worked on new concepts, working together helped re-inforce the work.
How did your work with your team impact your content knowledge and pedagogy?
I learned a great deal more. Supossedly I had the "Arctic Knowledge" because of my TEA experiencce, but my team has a great deal of teaching experience and knowledge. It was a great group effort to work together on content as well as pedagogy.
What materials / resources / workshops did you
use / produce / host with your team members over the last year?
We combined bibliographies and websites. All of our classes made presentations to other classroom. We have a very co-operative and positive system.
Based on the past year,
what ideas do you have to improve the effectiveness of
your team interactions?
Keeping better records of all of our meetings.
Working together with technology.
Working with the technology person in our system.
Offering workshops at professional development days within our system, alone as well as together.
Having a "Polar Science Fair"

Additional reflections:
It was exciting to meet and to collaborate. Each member of the group has a lot to offer. We had an added member Jahhna Cloukey come to the group.
