Goal(s) of Meeting Begin work on Arctic studies. Jake will be working with Cortney and Johnna's class on animal research. Logistics were discussed with dates to begin. Ann and I will be working with Kelli Gervais
Overview of Session (e.g., resources used, discussion points, next steps, etc.): Review objectives of projects, assess last years with updates for new school year.
Meet with all 4 classes to discuss reasearch. Present Wales porject powerpoint.

How did your team address pedagogy, content, the process of science, and the use of technology during the session? Addressed was anthropology, research methods and techniques` and data collection. Also stressed was report of work to the public.
Additional reflections: Year was planned with emphasis on collaboration and year end presentation of research to Ornage Community.

Goal(s) of Meeting We met to discuss explorer projects and animal projects. We included the librarian. Resources, Internet sites were chosen for research.

How did your team address pedagogy, content, the process of science, and the use of technology during the session? Alaska culture, history, and peoples were topic. All work was related to MA curriculum frameworks in Social Studies, Science, Math, and Language Ats

Goal(s) of Meeting Prepare for excavation at school
Overview of Session (e.g., resources used, discussion points, next steps, etc.): Stressed method and techniques of work, data collection, and understanding of data. We then discussed the next step that archaeologists would proceed with: reporting and communicating the work to the public (also Dr. Harritt for review and assessment).
How did your team address pedagogy, content, the process of science, and the use of technology during the session? data collection, what it means, methods of research, further research, reporting.
Additional reflections: This was and will be a major project. This will cover all curriculum areas (social studies, science, math, language arts, art, use of technology)

Additional reflections: These meetings were major meetings planning and assessing our work as a team of 4 classrooms.
