To learn more about polar research

We went to the Cincinnati Museum together to parcticipate in their "Frozen Weekend," which was centered around the Omnimax film "Shakelton Adventure." We went to the film, the Skackleton exhibit, 2 lectures, a "Jason Live" Broadcast from Alaska, and Barbara and Lydia came to my presentation on TEA.

How did your team address pedagogy, content, the process of science, and the use of technology during the session?

Additional reflections:
The day was very exciting and fun. There was a real sense of comraderie between the three of us. Both Barbara and Lydia were better able to understand polar science and my goals in transfering it into the classroom

Discussed time frame and schedule for the Antarctic unit, what each of our responsibilites were, and how we would organize the unit. Reviewed potential lesson plans and which lessons would be in the unit.
