How did your work with your team help you meet the professional growth goals you set for yourself?
This year was different from the last 2 years. I met with my team more individually for different goals including the completion of my TEA activities.

How did your work with your team impact your content knowledge and pedagogy?
Working closely and more frequently with one team member helped me shift my teaching habits. Michelle and I met weekly to discuss our strategies with middle school and high school students. As of now, I am the only HS science teacher so it is nice to get a different perspective from a new science teacher. Michelle is new at teaching middle school and new at science at that level. In our weekly meetings, we talk about effective teaching practices for specific topics.

What materials / resources / workshops did you use / produce / host with your team members over the last year?
Michelle and I shared several resources for different science units and 2 of 3 team members went to the regional NSTA conference in Seattle together. They brought back information to share with me.

Based on the past year, what ideas do you have to improve the effectiveness of your team interactions?
Due to our busy schedules, I would like to improve the number of times we meet and our meeting productivity. We had so many goals two years ago and we've evolved to minimize our list to realistic goals.
