All four of us are a team of tech trainers and we will be meeting frequently to discuss training topics for staff on campus.

We discussed ways to incorporate technology in the classroom. For the Beaumont grant, we need to include both technology and literacy.

We got together to create a powerpoint presenation for the first staff training.

We addressed issues that may arise during the first training. One example is some teachers may feel overwhelmed with the project requirements. Each teacher will receive approximately $4,000 worth of tech equipment in their classroom but a project must be done in exchange.

We provided a role play for our staff showing how their projects should incorporate literacy. Michelle and I showed the PowerPoint with the student signing ASL poetry with English captions.

This is our last meeting of the year for the Beaumont project. We gathered all of the data from all teachers and evaluated student results.

Michelle and I mostly worked on data analysis especially in the area of literacy. Most teachers felt students' language will improve if this project is used more often.

This was a fun meeting. We got together and did a volcano lab. This lab was a bit dangerous so we did it together so we could improve for the next lab with students.

I've never had so much fun! It's been awhile since I did a lab with anotehr adult. We discussed how this lab could be improved especially with the materials we were using: propane, matches, fryer, oil.
