Goal(s) of Meeting Develop new mentee relationships .... these should be for real!!!

How did your team address pedagogy, content, the process of science, and the use of technology during the session? Pedagogy: discussed teaching science as inquiry; discussed classroom management ideas .... developed plans of monitoring for movement toward each of their individual goals
Content: discussed science curriculum ideas grades 4-12 and integration of science with english classes
Process of Science: began discussing the state standards and performance assessments for the process of science
Tech: established email communication plans for discussing progress toward goals and new needs as they arise
Additional reflections: This group should be more solid than the past collaboration groups - for 2 reasons. Our work is supported and funded by BSSD grant money - these 3 have expressed a need and desire for a mentor to help them with the teaching of scinece. In addition, all 4 of us are faced with modifications of curriculum and instruction to comply with the Quality schools movement our district has adopted and will be implementing in the year 2003-4.
