What is your role within your team?
Share pedagogy strategies (Balanced Instructional Model of teaching) and integrating that with methods to get kids to utilized the science process skills as outlined by our local standards and the national science standards.

What professional growth goals do you and your team members hope to reach through this partnership?
Improve as effective teachers as we begin a standards based education at BSSD focusing on the Balanced Instructional Model. Brainstorm activities that could help our students achieve the standards outlined by BSSD and the National Science Standards, especially the science process standards.

How will you and your team reflect on these goals and on learning and classroom practice (e.g., pedagogy, the use of technology, content, the process of science)?
We will discuss performance tasks that were/were not effective, techniques or strategies we used to handle problems as they arise, and share activities that were successful.
