How did your work with your team help you meet the professional growth goals you set for yourself?
As a doctoral candidate working on my dissertation, I foud that my research on creating a valid and effective professional development program consisted of small teams of colleagues dialoguing with one another, collaborating with one another, and sharing of experiences. My goals are to create a valid professional development program and I agree with the research becasue it is true.

How did your work with your team impact your content knowledge and pedagogy?
We researched areas in which we were weak in and went to one another with what we found in the research and asked each other how did they do or teach a certain subject.

What materials / resources / workshops did you use / produce / host with your team members over the last year?
created a vegetable garden maintained a digital weather station created a compost created lessons went to conferences together went to workshops together

Based on the past year, what ideas do you have to improve the effectiveness of your team interactions?
For my team members to stay a team. It is hard to create cohesiveness if team members keep leaving the teaching field. I have been more selective in partnering because I am looking for candidates that are not suspected of leaving the teaching field over the next 3 years.

Total hours of collaboration with each team member:
Dee Hellmers - 1 hour David and Sarah - daily for at least 15 minutes Paula - about 30 minutes weekly
