Goal(s) of Meeting
Mentoring Brainstorming Session

Overview of Session (e.g., resources used, discussion points, next steps, etc.):
Session went well and the three of us were mostly on the same page.

No resources were used since it was simply a brainstorming session.

Mentoring will largely be field trips and weekend workshops.

A search for potential trips and workshops will begin right away.

No worries- I’m looking forward to beginning the process.

How did your team address pedagogy, content, the process of science, and the use of technology during the session?
Pedagogy and technology was not part of the session’s goals.

Classroom methods and learning approaches were briefly discussed in relation to determining mentoring practices. For example, since our classes were field-oriented, we decided that parcticipating in outdoor field trips/classes would be beneficial.
