How did your work with your team help you meet the professional growth goals you set for yourself?
I felt that as a professional it was beneficial to me to be working to create science opportunities for students. I sought further resources regarding the polar regions and am continuing to expand my knowledge base.

How did your work with your team impact your content knowledge and pedagogy?
My team was experienced in working with students and valued science education. We worked to try to integrate science into other disciplines as well as the technology available to us.

What materials / resources / workshops did you use / produce / host with your team members over the last year?
We have been working with the Jason materials. We are in the process of trying to create a structure for a student science conference with would take place in the spring of 2002.

Based on the past year, what ideas do you have to improve the effectiveness of your team interactions?
Having regularly scheduled meetings that we can all commit to is the easiest way to keep moving forward. We are all very busy and that commitment is not always easy to meet.

Total hours of collaboration with each team member:
about 10 hours each with Sue Ann Hennick, Lynda Jasperson, and Anicia Criscione about 30 hours with Jonathan Smith about 20 hours with Paul Bradley and Debbie Veazy

Additional reflections:
This is a huge challenge when trying to work with people outside your own building. If I were to have an ideal situation, it would be to be in a larger building and try to build a network within. That would free us to meet more routinely.
