How did your work with your team help you meet the professional growth goals you set for yourself?
I worked with my team on grant writing and transfering lessons. I met my professional goals of funding my science program with the help of my team in writing grants. We also made many inroads on lessons to be transfered in 2004.

How did your work with your team impact your content knowledge and pedagogy?
I learned much more about areas I had no knowledge of. Such as biology and chemistry. I also learned alot about solar research and the equipment needed to do day time astronomy.

What materials / resources / workshops did you use / produce / host with your team members over the last year?
1) We held "Chillin with Mike" a two day workshop for elementary teachers with the goal to bring high schoolers into the elementary schools to do lessons. 2) We organized "Antarctica Night" a one night presentation in our Auditorium with attendance of 300 people from our community. Highly successful.

Based on the past year, what ideas do you have to improve the effectiveness of your team interactions?
We have no time to see each other. Email is essential to communication and is a viable way to mentor. We cannot find time after school to meet with each other. We need more time in our schedule and will continue to find this to be the most challenging aspect.

Total hours of collaboration with each team member:
Steve Holman 25 hours Graham Dey 25 hours Chasity Malatesta 25 hours Gena Dwyer 0 hours.

Additional reflections:
Next year I will be working with my group in implementing many lessons. My placement this year in Antarctica made it difficult to implement lessons because I was not there to start the school year.
