Goal(s) of Meeting
I felt that it should be noted that my mentoring efforts have not been limited to the three primary individuals (Borneman, Church, and Cizenski) with whom I have agreed to spend 137 hours. In fact, the additional mentoring tasks presented by Carol and Pam have been somewhat prohibitive in terms of time that I spend with the other three. Carol Church was my student teacher from the beginning of school through December. This was a very large time commitment for me. In addition, I was assigned to be the “official” mentor for our new eighth grade teacher, Pam White. Since she is new to the district as well as to teaching eighth grade, this has also been a significant source of work for me. Sometimes I think I spend nearly as much time mentoring as I do teaching!
