How did your work with your team help you meet the professional growth goals you set for yourself?
Teh work with my team has been fairly successful this year. Most of my meeting has been with Laura Duff during the fall of 2001. I have had less time to work with Mark and Diana, and they are much more independent as Mark moves into his second year. Laura and I have fine tuned a number of activities related to the poles.

How did your work with your team impact your content knowledge and pedagogy?
I dont feel it has greatly increased my content knowledge. Most of that was deveoped in preparation for my trip and while on the ice or shortly thereafter. The team work really has improved my understanding of ways to integrate polar science into the classroom. I have found lots of niches to insert polar materials into biology, chemistry, and physical science. My work with Julie at the elementary level has been successful. I have also worked with two other elementary teachers. This has broadened my pedagogy skills.

What materials / resources / workshops did you use / produce / host with your team members over the last year?
Developed and field tested the Lab activity "Chillin out with freezing point depression.

Based on the past year, what ideas do you have to improve the effectiveness of your team interactions?
I hope to have Antarctica get together for any interested local teachers to learn more about the resources TEA has available.
