What is your role within your team?
Both Matt and Diana are co workers in the science department at Basalt HS. We are all teaching a Physical Science course this year. We have all agreee that this would be a good place to integrate the TEA materials and my experiences into the science curriculum.

What professional growth goals do you and your team members hope to reach through this partnership?
We hope to use this opportunity to strengthen the physical sciece curriculum at BHS. We think this will have a high degree of interest for the students. It is also a good use of availible technology Matt is a first year science teacher and will need help in a number of areas. This will be a good opportunity to help him and his classes. Diana is teaching physical science for the first time, so our meetigs will also be of great benefit to her as well.

How will you and your team reflect on these goals and on learning and classroom practice (e.g., pedagogy, the use of technology, content, the process of science)?
We will be meeting informally on a daily basis at lunch. Since we are all teaching the same class, there will be plenty to discuss and plan. There are a number of scheduled inservices throughout the year where we will be able to meet for longer periods of time.
