7 August, 2000Today is the first day of an eighteen month preparation time for my journey to Antarctica during the winter of 2001-2002. I'm in New Hampshire attending a TEA (Teachers Experiencing Antarctica and the Arctic) orientation.. We are listening to first-hand experiences from past TEAs, PIs, and support personnel. It's been a fabulous experience. We are working with a great group of people. I can't wait to go!
