FUN
Speaking of play, once in a while we actually do fun things just because
when you work 7 days a week you need distractions. The Marine Techs helped
make a twister spinner with some scrap wood and then we cut out colored
paper for the floor pieces. Right at shift changeover we were asked to
report to the helo deck and, Ta Da: Twister! Good old fashioned imagination
can create anything even if you're in the middle of nowhere.
Our chefs also work seven days a week so we decided to give them a meal off
and we took over the kitchen. Some of us made Lasagna, chicken parmigiana
and gingered carrot soup. It was great fun and we all enjoyed the meal!
