U.S.G.S. at Denver
Tuesday I arrived in Denver to meet and spend a few days with Gary Clow.
Gary is the project scientist who I will be accompanying to Antarctica in
November. He is part of the Earth Surface Processes Team at the U.S.
Geological Survey. We spent the initial day going over the logistics of the
trip. I learned when and how we will get to Antarctica, what I'll need to
bring, and what living on the ice will be like.
