How are you sharing your research experience with your colleagues, district, community, etc? I am sharing my research experience with the students by showing them digital images from the field and sharing my journals. I am also doing hands-on,inquiry-based activities with the students that relate to the science of Antarctica.

Content: This presentation was given in order to inform the Marysville School District administrators about my involvement in TEA. The superintendent (then assistant superintendent) wanted the presentation to drum up interest about TEA, and to give the principals a chance to meet me before I was hired by the district.

Outcomes: I was hired by the Marysville School District and received numerous offers from the principals. The administrators were receptive and excited about TEA.

Content: This presentation was given to inform the school board and community about my involvement in TEA.

6. Anticipated TEA Involvement (01/2003 to 01/2004)


This year my focus will be on mentoring and creating activities for the TEA website. I plan to give presentations throughout my district as well as beyond it.
