How are you sharing your research experience with your colleagues, district, community, etc? My trip into the field will not occur until the summer of 2001. I have done some pre-research trip presentation preparation with my team, my students, my science club, and at a workshop for the West Virginia Science Teacher's Association. I have plan to do 2 workshops in January for elementary students (grades 5 and special ed. self contained). I have a presentation that involves getting the students intrested in my upcoming trip. I teach them about differences in polar regions and share the ECW gear with them.
