Bob Hawley from the Universiy of Washington visited my school and presented to my Earth Science classes. 9/11/01 to 12/19/01
How are you sharing your research experience with your colleagues, district, community, etc?
I developed and piloted an activity that simulates borehole paleothermometry.
I have integrated polar science activities and topics into a number of units in my science courses.
My students read journals, listened to real audio sessions, and communicated through e-mail with the Antarctic TEAs in the field.
I continue to make presentations at other schools in the area.
