13 November, 2001Arrive safely at Christchurch, New Zealand. Met up with two of the researchers at L.A. airport. The flight over was smooth and uneventful. We will be in Christchurch for about two days. We will pick up our ecw gear on Nov. 15 and leave for Antarctica on Nov. 16. We are 18 hours ahead of NY time, so you figure out what date and time that will in NY. And now to begin the adventure.......
