Visiting TEAntarctic teacher from Seattle Sandra Kolb, previous TEAntarctic parcticipant flew in last night from Seattle to provide her expertise in teacher mentoring for one of Martin's (Dr. Jeffries) new projects. To better understand Martinís proposed plan, Sandra will go through the whole process on lake ice as I did last week. Eventually, this exciting project will provide professional development opportunities for Fairbanks teachers (K-12) in snow and ice research.
