Success!
We finally had a good launch! We repeated the CN flight that we had lost earlier. This time we had success. Winds were calm, the balloon took off nicely even though I had under-inflated it. The data came back and all the switches and instruments worked well. This gave us a breather, as the next flight is not till Monday. I took the time to walk around McMurdo a bit.

A view of Mt. Erebus, it is an active volcano.

The Crary Science Building.

It has been -20 to -30 degrees F most of the first week.
