9 August, 2002No data collection today....... We made an unexpected trip to Anchorage this morning as one of the REU students had a family emergency and had to fly home early. As it takes three people to pack the GPR gear up the glacier, and I would have been the only one left in camp, I decided to tag along. This trip gave an excuse to stop on the way home in Palmer for a shower. I was also able to wash my clothes, which were in desperate need of cleaning (trust me!). GPR tomorrow...... Life Is Good DT
